Safe Routes to School is a program of San Juan Unified School District, funded by state/federal ATP/Safe Routes to School grants, private foundation grants, and the district. Safe Routes is housed in the Safe Schools Program, which is within the Community Relations Division.
Safe Routes to School is organized around the six E’s: education, encouragement, equity, enforcement, evaluation and engineering.
Dan Allison is the Safe Routes to School Coordinator for San Juan USD, since April 2011.
